On February 8th, SUMC is holding its second annual “Daughter of the King” dance!  This event is for fathers and daughters, uncles and nieces, grandfathers and granddaughters, or any little girl who has a man in her life that she looks up to.  It will be a lovely evening with dinner, dancing, fellowship and learning.  This event is for kindergarten through 6th grade.  Tickets, $6 a person, will be available January 20th in the coffee lobby.  For more information, please visit the bulletin board across from the church office, contact Emily Evans or call the church office 856.728.1636.
A membership class is forming soon!  If you would like to become a member of the church, there will be a class on Saturday, February 2nd and 9th from 9 am – 12 noon.  The class will cover United Methodist history and beliefs as well as the exploration of spiritual gifts.  You can register for the class by emailing Becky Krasting at
Ladies Night Out Friday, January 25 6:30 pm Come and join us for a night of Laughter and Pizza!  We will enjoy pizza then watch Anita Renfroe, a Christian comedian, for an hour of comedy therapy.  Tickets, $5, will be sold January 13th and 20th in the coffee lobby.  Questions, contact church office 856.728.1636.

Christmas is the season of giving, so let January begin the season of service.  In partnership with The Perfecting Church, SUMC will once again participate in The MLK Day of Service to honor the life and legacy of a man who encouraged us to give the gift of service to our communities. Sneak Peek – Coming to SUMC Get ready for “A Great Night Out” with entertainer, Mark Cable. Singer, songwriter and humorist Mark Cable

Winter Coat Drive

Our youth will be serving the Camden homeless community on Saturday, February 9th, with food, personal items and warm winter coats.  Please donate any gently used and clean winter coats that you may have.  Donations may be dropped off to Chad Blatherwick at the church office.  For additional information, contact Chad Blatherwick
