• We are built like a building – In Ephesians 2:22 we read “Through him you, also, are being built in the Spirit together with others into a place where God lives.”

• We are joined in a body– In Romans 12:4-5 we read “Our bodies have many parts, but these parts don’t all do the same thing. 5 In the same way, even though we are many individuals, Christ makes us one body and individuals who are connected to each other.”

• We are born into a family- In 1 Timothy 3:15 we read “…I want you to know how people who are members of God’s family must live. God’s family is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.”

• We are attached to a vine- and in John 15:4 we read “Live in me, and I will live in you. A branch cannot produce any fruit by itself. It has to stay attached to the vine. In the same way, you cannot produce fruit unless you live in me.”
